David A. Edwards Community Service Award

Honoring community commitment and service in the example of Dave A. Edwards.

Dave was a long-time member of the Committee, a former president (1990-1991), and chairman of our Economic Development/Transportation subcommittee. In addition to his work with the Committee, he was a tireless citizen advocate who served in scores of roles in his community throughout his 44 years as a resident of Reston. This award was initiated in 2011 and is presented to an individual or organization who most closely lives up to Dave Edwards’ example.
